On January 20, 2026, we welcomed Dr. Charles Logan for a talk that considers the costs of rapidly adopting AI technologies into our children’s learning and who endures those costs. We will look to history, current research, and policy recommendations to make sense of this present AI moment. The presentation will end with an overview of the growing parent-led grassroots movements to challenge how and why AI and other educational technologies enter our children’s classrooms and to what ends.
