PTA’s annual Reflections Art Program offers students an outlet to express their creative side by providing access to the arts and opportunities for recognition at the school, district, county, state, and national levels. This year, San Diego Unified Council of PTAs will be accepting submissions directly from students, so there is no need for PTAs to run their own Reflections program (unless they want to!) in order for students to participate.* More information regarding the Reflections Art Program, including categories and rules, is available here: https://capta.org/programs-events/reflections/

* PTA units must be in good standing in order for students at that school to be eligible for advancement to the district judging level.
Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts.
Students participate in the appropriate division for their grade: Primary (Pre-K – Grade 2), Intermediate (Grades 3-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), High School (Grades 9-12), Special Artist (All grades welcome). Students who identify as having a disability and may receive services under IDEA or ADA: Section 504 may enter in the Accessible Arts Division or grade division most closely aligned to their functional abilities.*
